family therapy consist of therapy where 2 or more family members me with 1 or 2 counselors to work on treatment goals that have been predetermined by the counselor and the family. Perhaps the family is struggling with the loss of one of their family members. perhaps a single mother is having difficulty with raising her teenage son and the relationship has suffered as a result. both of these cases could benefit from family based counseling.
